Welcome to our beautiful, private slice of the forest – the Hillside Retreat! Nestled further back in the treeline, Hillside is just a short walk from multiple areas of nature. Whether you’re an avid outdoorsman or just trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Hillside offers something for just about everybody.

    A fan of the hunt? Explore miles of forest for deer, turkey, and other small game - bring your haul back to the washroom for a clean butchering table and fridge

    Hillside's lush fields and hilly trails make it the perfect vacation spot for wintertime enthusiasts - come sled, ski, and snowshoe to your heart's content

  • Natural Bonuses

    The Hillside Retreat includes a few unique organic features like an open field and sky for stargazing, a nearby blueberry patch, and a beautifully immersive forest for autumn leaf peeping

  • Bird Watching

    The Arnold Lake area boasts beautiful native wildlife, you'll be in the perfect spot to observe (we even have an Eagle!)

  • Fishing Access

    Take a short walk down to lake for year-round fishing, we're popular for brown & rainbow trout but the lake is also full of smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and more

    Whether walking, biking, horseback riding, or even snowmobiling Hillside has ample trail mouths to access. You'll never tire of exploring the area's natural beauty

The Cabin

While at the Hillside Retreat you’ll stay in our cozy cabin. Furnished with handmade touches that make your stay more comfortable – whether that’s wooden countertops built with oak from the forest or a custom built entry gate. You’ll also have access to the on-site washroom with an additional full bath, laundry facilities, and butchering area. We truly hope you’ll find the Hillside accommodations to be a unique and relaxing home-away-from-home!
